Featured Keynote Speaker
Julie J. Park is associate professor of education at the University of Maryland, College Park. Her research addresses how race, religion, and social class affect diversity and equity in higher education, including the diverse experiences of Asian American college students.
Her book(Harvard Education Press) tackles misconceptions about how race and diversity work in higher education. She is also the author of (Rutgers University Press, 2013), an examination of how universities are affected by bans on affirmative action.
In her keynote session: Diversity, Equity, and Anti-Racism: Tackling the Continuing Challenge, Park will share insights on fostering inclusive and equitable cultures in business education, drawing on research and lessons learned from supporting a positive campus racial climate within higher education more broadly.
